Have you ever received an email that appeared to be from a service you trusted (e.g. a bank, hosting company, service you subscribe to, etc)? Of course you have. We get them all the time. But every now and them some scam artist attempts to fool you by sending you an email that is cleverly disguised to look like an email you can trust (this is called phishing). You wouldn't trust a wolf in sheep's clothing, so don't trust the link. Here's how to tell if an email link is safe to click.
1. Look at the underlying URL you are clicking on.
Anytime you receive a message that has a link you can tell it is fake by looking at the URL in the link. Text-based email messages will contain the full link in clear text so it is easy to read. HTML-based email messages may contain links embedded in images or other text, so to see the link you either need to hover your mouse over the link without clicking on it or view the HTML source. Try just moving your cursor over the link and looking at the tool tip that displays the URL. Or, if necessary, go to your VIEW menu and click View Source (or similar function). If necessary, you can carefully RIGHT-CLICK on the body of the image (away from the link) and click VIEW SOURCE. If you can't find the link by looking at the HTML source code then do a quick find for all the URLs that start with "http".
2. Dissect the URL and look for improper domain names.
Any URL that doesn't actually land on a safe domain is not safe to click. A safe domain is one that you trust, like ehow.com or google.com or wikipedia.com, etc. Look for the exact and full domain name in the URL. Right after the "HTTP://" and before the first forward slash "/" is the full domain name. For example,quick forums has a domain name of quikforms.com with a subdomain of qcc and that domain can be trusted by users of Quik! services.
Phishing scams look legitimate because they use a known domain name as a subdomain to fool you, but in reality it is their domain that you are clicking over to. The very fact that this link contains recognizable domain information as part of the url is all you need to know in order to recognize that this link cannot be trusted!
3. Look at the return-path email address in the email header.
If everything looks ok and you think the link may be safe, but you're not 100% sure, take a look at the email header. The return-path value should be someone you know with a domain you trust. For example, an email from Facebook has a return path with an email domain of "@facebookmail.com" which makes sense. But if the return path on a fake email from Facebook had "somesecuresite.net" then you would know the email cannot be trusted.
Emails that contain scams, phishing, viruses, worms and Trojans are a scourge of the internet. They may not be easy to avoid receiving, but they are very easy to avoid encouraging – don't click on them. Don't even open them if you don't recognize the sender and the subject line is suspect. Simply delete these messages and your email and computer should remain safe from harm.

After you have your chosen domain name, you can find it if there is available from the domain name selling website.
Free or Paid Domain name
Whatever you do on free domain, it was not belong to you and it might disappear any time. If you are an amateur, it is great to get free domain name. However, if you want to do online business, it is undeniable that it is your own website and you build on the solid foundation rather than shaking one. After you bought paid domain, you can do many subdomain as well. Domain name are very cheap and you can get it as low as 0.99 per year.
Some hosting company will give you free domain name registration for the first year and they will charge you from 2nd year onwards. The domain name will be part of your own business and you should buy it from well-known company rather instead of other company who sell the cheaper one.
Registration
After checking the availability of domain name, you can buy it in terms of price and discount. Domain name registration is kind of reserving the domain name on the internet according to your annual plan. If you bought it for one year plan, it will be yours for one year and will get control panel usage and then you have to renew it before it expire. The domain and hosting company should have customer support system in term of usage and other technical questions.
